6. Reach More Advertisers:
Larger advertisers, national brands and their agencies prefer to use networks like Digital Throttle as a "single-source" to consolidate their online advertising purchases. Placing individual orders across many sites is just too time-consuming. Focused vertical ad networks like Digital Throttle bring simplicity to the sales cycle.

7. We Know Your Market:
Automotive & Motorcycle DIY Enthusiasts are our only focus. Leverage our 20+ years of automotive and motorcycle industry experience, personal contacts and online expertise to maximize your revenue potential.
1. Does it Cost Anything to Join the Network?
There is no cost to join the Digital Throttle Network.

2. Are Orders CPC or CPM?
Our advertising orders will be CPM-based (cost per thousand impressions). CPM pricing provides you a predictable revenue stream based upon your site traffic.

3. How are Ad Rates Set?
Each publisher establishes two price levels for each ad unit: a minimum acceptable CPM price and your targeted "rate card" price. You enter these prices into your Digital Throttle Network portal, powered by Cox Digital Solutions (click here for a screen shot). You are able to configure automatic or manual order approval/rejection based upon these two price levels. This allows you to automatically accept, reject or manually review any order we submit to you for approval.

4. What Prices Should You Establish?
CPM pricing varies and is based upon many market factors including your own unsold inventory of ad impressions. Because you can establish a rule to manually review all orders we procure for you, you can be flexible with your minimum pricing to ensure you get an opportunity to consider more orders.

5. What Sites Earn the Highest CPM's?
Highly produced, unique content tends to generate the highest CPMs, while member generated community content, member profile pages, and classifieds postings tend to generate lower rates. Sites containing new vehicle reviews usually command greater ad rates (known as "in-market" sites).

1. How are Ads Displayed on the Publisher Site?
Digital Throttle is responsible for placing all ads on the site through network ad tags the publisher places on his site (click here for sample ad tag script). The only work required of the publisher is to first install these ad tags. We will be unable to secure orders for the site until these ad tags are live. If the publisher has an existing ad serving system, including Google AdSense, the Digital Throttle ad tags are inserted alongside existing codes. We are more than happy to help any publisher with technical assistance for this one-time setup.

2. How does Digital Throttle Secure Orders:
We utilize our own direct sales force and will also receive orders from Cox Digital Solutions. Our direct sales efforts will be to aftermarket product manufacturers, parts resellers and endemic advertisers seeking to target the Male DIY audience or vehicle enthusiasts. Cox works with large national brands and their agencies. Most campaigns through Cox Media Sales will be from companies seeking to target specific demographics.

3. How We Notify Publishers of Orders:
Any order we secure for your site(s) is conditional pending your approval. When we place a pending order for your site, you will receive an email notifying you of an order to approve. You simply link to your account on our Network portal to review the order. Pending orders will automatically go live after 24 hours if you do not reject the order.

4. Pending Orders can be Automatically Accepted or Rejected:
You can set order approval or rejection to occur automatically based upon price levels. You can also set conditional approvals depending on price levels. For instance, orders above your minimums can be automatically accepted. You can also set a default to manually review all orders regardless of price.

5. Can Publishers View Ads Associated with Each Order?
Yes, when the order is posted to you for approval, you can select “view ads” to review the creative (click here for a screen shot).

6. Can orders be Canceled or Changed?:
Yes, our advertisers may cancel or modify orders at any time for any reason. This may not apply to custom programs or sponsorship units we procure if governed by separate advertiser terms and conditions mutually agreed to.
